A beautiful day at casa Ocampo was a great way to celebrate this youngsters 1st birthday. There was even a jumping castle that had my whole family in it at one stage which was great fun! Pointing out which youngster was mine was a little difficult but we managed.
The food was plentiful plentiful plentiful! Apologies if the prawns somehow disappeared... my clan is known for selective eating patterns & Terrell is the main culprit. He was also seen digging at the prawn chips. Tristan was glued to the massive tv screen playing the Queen dvd. He wasn't much interested in the Eagle's but daddy certainly was. Unfortunately, we had to disappear before Tina Turner made an appearance... ;p
The people were gathered from all over with a large showing from the CBA space. I was caught by the mrs hiding away in a corner chatting with Kristine Smith & the Wheatley's (Di, Lisa & new bubsy)... in my defense, I was feeding Terrell & opening lollies for Trinity.
Gotta mention that massive cake! I am currently seeking permission to display pictures of the awesome event but that cake was just humungous! Shaped in the form of a number 1, it was probably the size of the celebrant! & I blame the parents for the extra exercise that I must do to work that off...
Mom would've loved to come & she asked for a blow by blow when I saw her on Sunday but you can blame me for her non-attendance as she was busy preparing for Terrell's celebration.
But all in all, we had a blast! Taleeya totally enjoyed the jumping castle. Trinity loved them jelly straw lollies. Tristan pigged out on the cake. Kaenon looked great as a dracula looking creature with the face-painting. & Javen... well... he's 14 & still had fun.
so all the kids were last seen busily attacking their lolly bag giveaways on our departure...
